Peter Reclusado found his passion for painting during the 2020 pandemic. Originally starting as a way to pass the time during California’s shutdown, Peter fell in the love with the craft and developed his own unique version of abstract impressionism. Completely selling out his first show, it’s clear that his career in the art world will be one of longevity. 

Working out of his home studio in Oceanside, CA, Peter’s primary medium are acrylics on canvas. His favorite subjects are holidays and characters; often giving heavy focus on the eyes and letting the viewer discover the subject in the sea of colors that surround them.  You can find his artwork in several locations along Pacific Coast Highway and at several local art shows in San Diego’s north county. 

In his spare time, you’ll find Peter building large Lego sets, swimming in the ocean, collecting old VHS Disney movies, bowling or jamming to music.
